Welcome to SneakNote.com ("we", "us", "our"). SneakNote is a service for sharing self-destructing notes. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

  • Note content you submit. It is encrypted at rest and automatically deleted after it is read or when its expiry time is reached.
  • Optional recipient email if you choose to have a note delivered by email.
  • Optional notifier email and name if you choose to be notified when a note is read or deleted.
  • Optional password for protecting a note. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
  • Non-personal information (e.g., IP address, browser type, aggregated usage data).

We do not operate user accounts and we do not collect payment details. We cannot read the content of encrypted notes.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to deliver notes, send the notifications you request, protect the Site from abuse, and improve our services.

3. Cookies & Tracking

We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool to understand aggregate traffic, and advertising cookies as described below. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Google AdSense

SneakNote uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

5. Data Retention

Notes are self-destructing: their content is permanently deleted once read or when the expiry time you set is reached, whichever comes first. We retain other information only as long as necessary for legal and operational purposes.
