No. Anyone with the full link can open the note in a browser, without signing up or installing anything.
Only the encrypted note, which it cannot read, until the note is deleted. It also records when the note was created and opened, its approximate size and the IP address that reached it, plus your email if you ask for a notification. Learn more about SneakNote safety
Yes. By default a note is deleted as soon as it is read. You can instead set a timer of 5 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or 1 month; a timed note can be opened any number of times until it expires.
Your browser encrypts the note with AES-256-GCM before sending it. The key is placed in the part of the link after the #, which browsers never send to the server, so only someone holding the full link can decrypt the note. Learn more about end-to-end encryption
